Seana Marena, meaning "Let it be so, ancestors," is a statement of acknowledgement, respect, and alignment.
Rooted in Basotho philosophy, the name carries the weight of affirmation-an acceptance of inherited wisdom, collective leadership, and ancestral authority.
The table draws inspiration from the Basotho people of southern Africa, honouring their non-conformity, resilience, and distinct cultural identity. Its form reflects the rhythm of Basotho regalia-most notably the iconic blanket-interpreted through layered surfaces, movement, and quiet strength. The flowing lines echo the mountainous landscapes of Lesotho, rising and folding with intention, grounded yet elevated.
Designed as a place of focus and decision-making, Seana Marena is not merely functional; it is ceremonial.
